A year in school costs a family a year of income.

For a family living close to the edge, a child in school is a year of earnings the household does not receive. Pulling a child out is usually a careful decision, made because the household cannot cover the gap.

Aangus covers that gap.

Every person in the wealthy world gave two hundred and eight dollars in 2023 to someone they will never meet. In 1960 it was seventy-three.

In 2025 official development assistance fell 23%, the largest single-year drop on record and the second consecutive year of decline.

Giving was never the problem. Most support is designed to continue year after year, and a village that received help in 1970 often still receives it. We are trying to build the kind that ends.
